  • LINEAR GUIDES

  • Nadella is specialised in the design and production of linear guide rail and rollers, divided into heavy and light load families, suitable for all applications where high speed and low noise are required and the operating environment is very aggressive. Our rails can be supplied with a single length of 6 meters, can be cut and drilled according to the customers’ needs and can be jointed together.
    The main application fields of Nadella’s linear guide systems are the following: robotic, handler and pick & place systems, packaging, machine tools, wood working machines, assembly machines, measure instruments, electro-medical machines, print machines.

    Linear guide systems for heavy loads

    This family of Nadella products consists of linear guides for simple installation at reasonable cost yet able to support high loads, at high velocity and function reliably in aggressive environments. The most typical applications are in the foundry industry, steel fabrication equipment, metal stamping and transfer systems, automatic storage systems and material elevators among others. The family consists of rail designs GU, FS, FSH and GP. All are cold drawn solid bearing steel with induction hardened race surfaces that can be supplied both with sandblasted or ground surface treatment. Guide rollers are executed in ball, needle or tapered roller bearing designs to offer a wide range of load capacities at various price levels. Besides the guide rollers there is the family of carriages called Rolbloc. Rolbloc carriages, designed to be used with the trapezoidal profiled rails GU, are composed of a prismatical body in steel with one or two pairs of rollers, with a cylindrical outer ring, mounted with axes perpendicular between them. With Rolbloc carriages there is pure rolling, obtained with the trapezoidal profile of GU rail, that provides a well guided system. This design allows high duty-cycle performance under heavy load capacities, high speed and low noise. Rolbloc carriages are particularly suitable for moving very heavy loads with high acceleration, for foundry and other heavy industry applications.

    • LINEAR AXES

    • Linear axes for high speeds: universal application as a single axis or in combination with further axes from our system range for complex multi-axis systems. Nadella’s building block system for linear axes provides all linear motion technology components up to the motor interface: Systems and telescopic axes with roller guides or recirculating ball guides, with belt drive, ballscrew drive or rack and pinion drive, suitable for direct, cross or portal links or as a single axis system. You can realise your design quickly and precisely using these universal motion and positioning axes.

            The parallel horizontal units are made in 240x140 mm profile, being able to interface, depending on the loads, with two sizes of transversal units to support one or move vertical units.

            The architecture of the system allows the 4th axis of rotation to be integrated with the vertical unit

            Nadella AXNR is an innovative solution helping machine manufacturers to achieve higher performances, reducing workspace areas compared to traditional lines, increasing efficiency and reliability, providing a tailored made circuit ready-to-use, reducing time and cost of engineering.

            Nadella AXNR circular module is a further development of Nadella FSR circular rails. AXNR module is a reliable and cost competitive solution. The product is based on the combination of components to allow product
            definition and availability in short time.             • TELESCOPIC LINE

            • Nadella telescopic slides are available in different versions, which are classified according to their extension ratio and their load capacity into part extensions, full extensions, heavy-duty extensions and over extensions.

              This results in a large number of versions, depending on the stroke, height, load and available installation space. Effective production of the telescopic rails enables short delivery times with high flexibility.

              Simple product selection

              The maximum load per pair, the desired stroke and the available installation length determine the product selection. Nadella telescopic slides are designed to have a good safety margin and to have a low deflection in the extended state. This allows the slides to move easily.

              Surface protection and stainless steel

              Nadella telescopic slides are always protected against corrosion. As standard, the steel receives a blue chromate coating. Other colours such as black or olive and other surface treatments such as zinc or nickel plating are available. For applications in the food sector or shipbuilding, stainless steel slides are available.

              Accessories and special functions

              In many applications, other functions are required in addition to linear motion. This can be locks, end stop dampers and limiters or also backward extensions. This can already be implemented as standard in the Nadella telescopic system.

                • BEARINGS AND CAM FOLLOWER

                • Needle bearings are a standard element of a rotational motion system. Needle bearings are used in applications where high load capacity, high precision and small overall dimensions are required. Nadella offers a big range of needle bearings. The strength of Nadella’s production consists also in the ability of producing special items at a reasonable price. Every bearing contains the long experience acquired from Nadella through decades of design, production and application.

                  • ADJUSTING LOCKING/UNLOCKING NUTS AND RINGS

                  • The adjusting locking/unlocking nuts and rings are used whenever precision mechanisms require a precision clamping as well as a powerful and safe locking, but above all for adjusting and clamping all type of bearings. The original clamping system is constituted from a part of the threaded section of the adjusting nut or ring (threaded clamping spring). When tightening the hexagon grub screws clamping is applied with a very strong pressure onto the threaded spring which meshes perfectly into the corresponding threads of the shaft or spindle. The Nadella adjusting nuts and rings can be easily mounted, dismounted and reused without losing the precision features.
