Founded in 1957, PHD, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets a wide selection of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical actuators for industrial automation. Standard products include grippers, cylinders, powered slides, rotary actuators, multi-motion actuators, escapements (parts feeding), clamps, electric slides and grippers, adaptors, switches, and sensors. Products may be used independently for fixturing or tooling, or in a modular fashion for building pick-and-place devices. Available free, Designer's Resource CD-ROM contains complete catalog information and a complete line of engineering support software including Parametric CAD Configurator software, CAD library files, and product sizing software.
Also offers th possibility for custom products which range from one time unit to high quantity requirements, that fit the customer's unique desires.
