      • SILASIL ENERGY® - for carbohydrate-rich crops

      • For carbohydrate-rich crops
SILASIL ENERGY® is a silage additive made from hetero-and homofermentative lactic acid bacteria. It promotes substrate digestion and the extremely low-loss substrate preparation of carbohydrate-rich energy crops.

        Your advantage
The use of SILASIL ENERGY® significantly increases the methane yield. Thus, the use of silages in biogas production is more profitable.

      • SILASIL ENERGY.XD - the new biological ensiling agent for energy crops

      • SILASIL ENERGY.XD combines highly-efficiently the three lactic acid bacteria strains - Lactobacillus diolivorans, Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus buchneri. The production takes place using special technology.
SILASIL ENERGY.XD is particularly recommended when rapid silage ripening times of between 2 to 6 weeks are necessary!

        The result
SILASIL ENERGY.XD – the unique bacterial combination for faster silo ripening:
        • Controls the ensiling process Shortens the silo ripening time
        • Increases the silage stability at the Face and in intermediate storage
        • Reduces the energy losses due to processing
      • SILASIL ENERGY.BG - for moist, protein-rich and low sugar energy crops

      • SILASIL ENERGY.BG contains homofermentative lactic acid bacteria, chosen specifically for biogas production, for the protection of protein-rich and low-sugar energy crops.

The result - protection against energy loss
The controlled inhibitory effect of SILASIL ENERGY.BG against proteolytic and saccharolytic anaerobe fermentation pests protects the harvested crop during the silaging phase against energy losses and the formation of toxic metabolic products.
      • SILASIL ENERGY.G - Combination product for protein-rich, low-sugar crops with high moisture content - for biogas and animal feed

      • SILASIL ENERGY.G is a combination of pure homofermentative lactic acid bacteria for silaging protein-rich, low-sugar energy crops with high moisture content for biogas and livestock production.

        The result
Protects the energy in the silo
The special fermentation acid pattern reduces the risk of anaerobic instability due to Clostridia and the formation of process-inhibiting substances like ammonia and mycotoxins. Thus, the energy and nutrients in the silage are optimally protected.

        Your advantage
SILASIL ENERGY.G reduces the energy losses during storage. The achieved substrate hygiene is the basis for successful animal nutrition and an undisturbed biogas process.
      • SILASIL ENERGY.C - Combination product for carbohydrate-rich silage - for biogas and animal feed

      • Combination product for carbohydrate-rich silage
SILASIL ENERGY.C, the special combination of one heterofermentative and two homofermentative lactic acid bacteria strains. With this special ensiling agent, both the biogas plant and the livestock can be supplied efficiently from one single silo stack.

        The result
Using SILASIL ENERGY.C in maize silage maintains the feed intake and milk yield at a high level equal to that when BONSILAGE MAIS is used (the biological ensiling agent specifically for animal feeds)

        Protection against energy loss
SILASIL ENERGY.C protects against energy loss and nutrient breakdown, and predigests the silage for a high methane yields.

        Protection against nutrient breakdown
Due to the specially adjusted fermentation acid profile and the “feed intake plus effect”, the silage additive promotes both ruminant feed intake and biogas output of the fermenter.

      • Fermentation additives

        Products for fermentation biology
To be able to fully exploit the biogas potential of the substrate in the fermenter, we have developed a special concept, which assures the tailor-made nutrient supply of the micro-organisms in the fermenter and allows an almost full-power performance..
          • Trace element products

          • As with all biological processes, Liebig’s Law of the Minimum also applies in biogas plants. This Law states that if one nutrient is limiting, full yields cannot be achieved.
Therefore, an optimally adjusted trace element dosage provides the stabilisation and optimisation of the methane production process by promoting growth of the micro-organisms involved in the breakdown process and allowing the accumulation of the necessary enzymes and co-enzymes.
Synchronisation of the individual steps in biogas production and a long-term increase in the fermenter performance is achieved through the addition of trace elements.

              • Iron preparations

              • All sulphur compounds are reduced to hydrogen sulphide in the digester. This preferably reacts with dissolved metal-ions. Free H2S in high concentration does not only precipitate essential trace elements in the digester, but also has a toxic effect on a large number of microorganisms engaged in the biogas process. Additionally gaseous sulphur compounds lead to an acidification of engine oils and affect oxidative catalysts in the exhaust gas.

                  • Ferric chloride

                  • The special effect of ferric chloride liquid:
All the sulphur compounds are reduced to hydrogen sulphide during biogas fermentation, and the nitrogen compounds to ammonium or ammonia. Not only are trace elements precipitated in the fermenter when there are high concentrations of free H2S, it also has a toxic effect on a large proportion of the micro-organisms involved in the biogas production process. Furthermore, gaseous phase sulphur compounds lead to acidification of the motor oils and to damage to the oxidative catalysts in the exhaust gas. Ammonia is even more toxic for the microbiota. High NH3 levels in the fermenter can bring the entire decomposition process to a halt. Increased NH3 concentrations in the biogas lead to precipitation of nitrogen compound in the motor and increased NOx content in the exhaust gas.
BC.ATOX liquid effectively reduces the H2S and NH3 concentrations in the fermenter. Process disturbances are reduced and the trace gases that are harmful for the motor are eliminated.
