            These equipments adapt to installations in which the pressure conditions are a limiting to the rest of self-cleaning systems, reducing the consumed water on the backflushing and maintenance and the pressure, optimizing the filtration process and improving the energy cost of the installation.

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC AGGRESSIVE WATER

            These equipments are especially designed to concentrations of waters with extreme pH values (very high or very low). So much the inside as the outside of the equipment incorporate compatible components with the usual exposure conditions in this kind of applications.

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC DRINKING WATER

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC DW equipments are especially designed to applications in which it is necessary the validation/certification of the filter to its use in waters to human consumption.

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC CL

            If the application is for aggresive water, as high chlorine concentrations (CL), the combination and characteristics of AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC CL equipments are exactly the same than standard equipments, but all the components are perfectly ready to be in contact with water with high chlorine concentrations, without wearing for this reason.

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC AA

            This equipment allows the use of Disc Filtration in applications where minimal water loss is desired. Incorporating air in the backwash process decreases the amount of water used in the backwash process by about 80%.

            AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC HP

            This equipment supplies the same filtration quality as the standard disc filter, with the ability of working with pressures from 3-16 bar (45-230 psi). All the manifolds, base, lids, and connection pipes are made of metal. The control unit incorporates a differential pressure gauge and a second pressure gauge controlling the maximum pressure which offers auxiliary protection under working conditions outside of the recommenden parameters.

            BACKFLUSHING LOW PRESSURE STAGE: The clean water is introduced from the reverse direction through the filtering element. This decompresses the stack discs, allowing the discs to separate and backwash efficiently.

            The solids are expelled from the discs and evacuated through the backwash manifold.

          • CONTROL UNITS

          • The AZUD FBC Control unit incorporates all the components to automatically operate the filtration system in a single control box.AZUD offers a wide range of control units (multiple stations), using an AC or DC power supply. Units are available in 110 V, 220 V or 12 V. This allows for easy automation of the filter systems.

            Additional information
            The control unit incorporates all components that allow the filtration system to be completely automated and autonomous.

            Program. This is programmed to activate the solenoids by pressure differential or time.

            Differential Pressure Gauge. All AZUD FBC Control Units incorporate a differential pressure gauge. This allows the controller to be programmed to activate the backwash cycle when the pressure differential from the inlet to the outlet of the filtration equipment is reached.

            Solenoids. The solenoids controlled by the program sequentially send the hydraulic signal to the 3-way hydraulic valves. This in turn starts and ends the backwashing cycle.

            Hydraulic Piping and Connectors. These allow for the connection from the control unit to the filtration system. All the ends of the micro-tubes coming from the control unit are marked for easy, fast connection to the micro-tubes coming from the filtration systems.

                                        • The AZUD FBC Control unit incorporates all the components to automatically operate the filtration system in a single control box.AZUD offers a wide range of control units (multiple stations), using an AC or DC power supply.                                             The water then flows through the screen and the particles are retained on the inside of the screen of the filter element. The filtered water then flows out through the outlet manifold.

                                            When the pressure differential increases to the pre-determined level, the flushing cycle starts. A hydraulic valve opens on the drainage outlet activating the AZUD FLEX PROTECT System which generates an helical movement along the screen to vacuum up the captures particles from the screen. The captured solids are expelled through the drain valve.

                                            The flushing time is pre-determined by the controller. When the cycle is complete the flush valve closes and the process ends The whole process uses a minimal amount of water.
