Company Profile

Created in 1986, the C.I.M. Shipyard (Industrial and Maritime Constructions) has specialised in the design and construction of boats from 15 to 45 meters in length, made in either composite materials or aluminium alloy. The premises ensure the complete production of the sophisticated MAXI YACHTS from the preliminary draft studies of these units, to their delivery. Since 1998, the C.I.M. shipyard has been proposing a complete range of catamarans called OCEAN VOYAGER from 52 ' to 82 ' intended for the day charter business, which can accommodate from 28 to 80 passengers according to the model. The C.I.M. shipyard is able to build in its shipyard any unit boat made in composite materials or aluminium alloy, up to 45 meters length. For example, a 30 meters live-aboard day-charter catamaran type MAXICAT 30 in composite was launched in July 1997. Moreover, the C.I.M. Shipyard undertakes repair of large units : maintenance and reconditioning, technical and aesthetic repairs, interior arrangements and decoration. It privileges the same criteria of quality in these areas as in its construction activity. For example, the "HIGHEST HONOUR I and II " MAXI-catamarans " (26 meters length) were refurbished in its workshops. The shipyard consists of a big assembly hall with five main production workshops : joiner’s workshop, composite materials, laminate's workshop, mechanics/hydraulics/refrigeration workshop, electricity/electronics workshop and painting shop, all located on a 3.000 m² covered surface. - By train : Paris - La Rochelle 2h50 (TGV) - By plane : Scheduled flights for La Rochelle coming from Paris and main European cities.
