Company Profile

The grandfather of the present owner (Wolter Huisman) founded the yard in 1884. Initially only small, wooden fishing and work boats were built. The yard was located then at Ronduite, a hamlet about 10 km east of Vollenhove. Some of these small boats later became known as "Vollenhovense Bol".
