In addition to reliable machine protection, the VIBROCONTROL 18xx series of compact monitors offers condition monitoring and diagnostics functionality. Scalar vibration and process data can be stored and trended as well as the original time waveform signals.Frequency spectra can be post-processed using FFT analysis.
      • VIBROCONTROL 950/960

      • These single-channel devices effectively protect machines with rolling-element bearings from damages by e.g. unbalance or misalignment. They are ideally suitable for monitoring e.g. fans, blowers, pumps, decanters, separators and mills.

VIBROCONTROL 950 is connected to constant-current sourced accelerometers; VIBROCONTROL 960 is connected to vibration velocity sensors. The instruments are mounted on a DIN rail in machine cabinets or in optional field housings. A user software enables easy and flexible set-up.

        Features of VIBROCONTROL 950/960:
        • Input of accelerometers (CCS): VIBROCONTROL 950
        • Input of velocity sensors: VIBROCONTROL 960
        • 2 relays (Alarm & Danger) and 1 OK relay
        • Analog output
        • Large integrated display
        • Vibration levels in realtime
        • Installation: DIN Rail mounting or optional field housing

      • This powerful and low-priced solution enables measurement and monitoring of

        • Casing vibration
        • Rolling-element bearing condition
        • Temperature

simultaneously at 2 bearings of your machine. The acceleration sensor AS-062/T1 integrates a temperature sensor in the housing besides the elements necessary for vibration measurement. With the mounting of the sensor all three measured variables are acquired simultaneously and expensive addtional components and wiring costs are unnecessary.

        Vibration monitoring

Measurement of casing vibration is in accordance with the ISO Standard 10816. The two actual measured values are shown in the display, as well as their percentage values with respect to the set limit setpoint. A violation of the preset limit values is signalled visually (LED) as well as through the built-in relays for Alert and Danger alarms.

      • VT-110 AND VT-120 CASE VIBRATION TRANSMITTERS

      • This reliable and cost-effective monitoring solution is used for DCS / PLC based overall vibration measurement and trending of the case vibration level. It is suitable for small and medium-sized machinery such as fans, pumps, compressors, industrial turbines and other rotating equipment with rolling-element bearings.

Features of Case Vibration Transmitters VT-110 and VT-120:
        • Compact size
        • Loop-powered
        • Analog output
        • Simple mounting
        • Suitable for use in harsh environments
        • Ex-proof versions available
      • VIBROCONTROL 1000

      • The VIBROCONTROL 1000 family, is used when single-channel monitoring is sufficient to protect a machine.

A typical configuration consists of 1 (2) sensors and electronic unit. The monitor is designed to convert the sensor signal into the monitored parameter, compare the measured value with limits and energise limit relays.

The monitoring instrument is equipped with two adjustable alarm limits. These limits are adjusted via a potentiometer. Exceeding the pre-selected limit activates the respective relay. An adjustable delay time for each relay prevents false alarms.

A built-in-self test activates the OK-relay if a sensor fault is recognized, contributing to the reliability of the system – a primary requirement for monitoring systems.

Ample adjustments for measurement parameters, full scale ranges, and delay times etc. via simple jumpers, allow easy customizing to meet each monitoring need.

The IP65 heavy-duty industrial housing contains a power supply that may be used with 230/115 V AC 50/60 Hz or +24 V DC.

      • ACCESSORIES

      • Sensors have been aptly named the "fingertip" of measurement techniques - where the "pulse" of the machine being monitored is taken and the condition measurement begins. The correct accessories and installation techniques can enhance the system's performance and ensure long-term satisfaction with the reliability of the safety or predictive monitoring system.

One of the most decisive factors that lead to the long-term satisfaction with the operation and reliability of a safety or predictive monitoring is the choice of the correct installation accessories used for the selected vibration, displacement and reference sensors.

These components can be the "make or break" of any monitoring system efficiency, regardless whether the correct safety or predictive monitoring system itself has been chosen.

Our range of accessories are tailor-made for the most diverse applications and are your guarantee that the monitoring system will provide the anticipated results that motivated its initial purchase.

        • Condition Monitoring Interface VI-6080

        • A production plant usually requires a wide variety of machines. Some of these machines are already equipped with protection systems, while others are retrofitted by the operator. The result is that there is often more than one type of machine protection system in the plant. The ideal solution is just one condition monitoring system, which integrates all the machine’s condition information irrespective of the protection system used and that also offers the option to integrate additional measuring points.

Brüel & Kjær Vibro now offers an ideal solution for this challenge! The Condition Monitoring Interface VI-6080 together with Compass 6000™ enables predictive maintenance for all machines. In the simplest case, if a machine is equipped with the reliable machine protection system VIBROCONTROL 6000®, the data from the VIBROCONTROL 6000® system is conveyed to Compass 6000™. All the other machines, which are equipped with machine protection systems from other manufacturers and are provided with buffered outputs (in accordance with API 670), can be easily integrated in Compass 6000™ via the Condition Monitoring Interface VI-6080. Non-critical machines that are not equipped with a machine protection system, but are important for predictive maintenance of the plant, can also be integrated by installing additional sensors and integrating their signals in Compass 6000™ via the Condition Monitoring Interface VI-6080. The benefits are obvious:

Only one single configuration and diagnostic software!
All the information about the status of a plant is summarized in a powerful condition monitoring system

Non-contacting displacement sensors for measurement of:
            • Relative shaft vibration
            • Relative shaft movement
            • Relative shaft expansion
            • Reference signals
