Recognizing that most new technology in pneumatics was being developed in Europe and Asia, Flotronics sought out these progressive manufacturers and introduced their products to the Southeast Michigan robotic and automation industries. Under the direction of its founder and President, Lloyd L. Schmaltz, Flotronics celebrates its fifteenth year with forty employees, three plant locations, and ranking in the Michigan Private Top 100 Growth Companies for four consecutive years — validation that we live up to our motto. Our product line includes many of the world's most technically advanced manufacturers in our field: SMC (Japan), Herion (Germany), Schmalz (Germany), H.R. Textron (U.S.), Lin-Act (U.S.) and Schunk (Germany).
